It's widely agreed that autumn in Vermont is a beautiful time of year. No debate there. It is hard to pick a favorite, when each season has its' own special beauty (wherever you may be) ... but I have to admit I am partial to fall. The sounds, the smells, the colors, the anticipation of colder, wintry days...
...it's a prelude to quiet that I love.

Luckily, fall seems to be a little later this year (peak colors are still hanging in there, which is a little unusual.
