755 = Snow Day!

Last Friday there was a second snowstorm that fell during the week, and everything has been blanketed in fresh white powder. It's beautiful!!!!

I do love the snow, especially when it's the fluffy kind...Another plus, my work called that day a snow day - So I  felt  like a little kid having off from school!!

Which brings me to explaining the number in this post title...

...Way back in the day, before the magical internet and when phones were still attached to walls, we had to listen to the radio for snow school closings. And our school's number was 755! It would take FOREVER to get to the 700s and half of the time I'd start talking to my sister or vice versa, not realizing we were about to miss the news. (then having to listen AGAIN when the read the whole darn list over again)... Sigh - Good Times!!!

It's now properly photographed and delivered to Furchgott Sourdiffe Gallery in Shelburne for "Illuminate. The Winter Group Show" that I'm excited to be included in....

Last night and today there is more snow falling, and I'm feeling very lucky to be able to experience all the beauty of the seasons here in New England.
